With the winter in Oslo quickly approaching, we thought it would be a good time to head south to visit a new country, SPAIN! Again, with Rick Steve's as our "tour guide", we ventured through Madrid, Toledo, and Barcelona!
After spending 7 days in Spain, I think it's safe to say that we are HUGE fans of the food culture. With tapas at 3-5 euros each and glasses of delicious wine at 2-3 euros each, it was a nice break from the prices here in Oslo. Not to mention the variety of sweets and treats! In Toledo we indulged in local marzipan and wine and in Barcelona we had THE BEST churros con chocolate along with a variety of other amazing chocolatey treats. Walking most of the day totally justified it all.
Here are some of the highlights of our trip starting in Madrid, then Toledo, and finishing up in Barcelona (probably our favorite of the 3) :-)
